What are "Logs" in snapAddy DataAgents?
The Logs section shows you when and how your workflows in snapAddy VisitReport and snapAddy DataAgents were run. The detail view lets you trace every individual step, so you can review processes transparently and analyze errors precisely.
In snapAddy DataAgents, the Logs section documents every execution of your workflows. This gives you a complete overview of when a workflow started and which path it took.
Overview of workflow logs
The Logs menu contains a list of all workflow executions. Each row represents a single execution and shows you its status at a glance: completed successfully or failed.
This is where you find the logs: snapAddy DataAgents → Logs

How can I filter and search logs?
Because actively used workflows quickly generate a large number of logs, several filters are available at the top of the view to help you narrow it down. The filters can be freely combined.
Available filters
- Types: Filter by workflow type: DataAgents or VisitReport
- Status: Display by execution status (All, Active, Completed, Failed, Canceled, or Waiting), ideal for showing only failed runs, for example
- Time (Today in the picture): Narrow by time frame; the button label reflects the currently selected period. You can choose presets such as Last hour, Last 12 hours, Today, Yesterday, or Last 30 days, or define your own From/To range
- Users: Filter by the user who triggered the workflow
- Workflow: Select a specific workflow to see only its runs
- Events: Filter by the triggering VisitReport event
Additional search options
- Participant ID: Search for all runs that processed a specific entity (for example a contact or account)
- Find by ID: Open a specific log entry directly using its execution ID
How do I analyze failed workflows?
The detail view is especially valuable when an execution fails. Proceed as follows:
- In the overview, click the failed execution.

- Review the path that was taken.
- Select an entry from the list.

- Check the details of the individual nodes to identify the issue.

This information helps you locate and fix errors quickly, so you stay in full control of your automations at all times.
Tip: Use the expand icon (the diagonal double arrow) in the top-right corner of the Workflow execution window to open the detail view in full screen. This keeps the entire path easy to follow, especially for larger workflows.
