How can I create a Master Event?

You can set an existing event as the master event to use for subsequent versions.

The master event allows the snapAddy users to have one general questionnaire with different questions, so they could use these questions while creating new questionnaire for the future trade fairs.
 
In order to create a master event, please follow the next steps:

  1. Create an event with all the questions you would need in the future under Drafts.

  2. Finalize this event and make sure that this is the final master questionnaire.

  3. Once you have ensured that this questionnaire contains all the necessary questions, go to your event and set it live.

  4. Open the event you want to save as a master event and click on Setup -> General

  5. Now click on Use event as Master

  6. Enter the name of the master and click on Create.

  7. The event will be duplicated and classified as a Master event.
  8. The Master event can now be used for creating future events. This event can not be edited! 

Tip: Test the event in the VisitReport app, and check if all the necessary questions are part of it. 

If you want to add new questions to the master event, please duplicate the master event under Settings Duplicate.
