How do I write my business card to an NFC tag with the snapAddy BusinessCards app?
You can write your digital business card directly from the snapAddy BusinessCards app onto a writable NFC tag. After that, you simply hold a smartphone near the tag to share your contact details.
The snapAddy BusinessCards app lets you transfer your digital business card to an NFC tag in just a few steps. The tag then becomes a physical carrier of your card: when another smartphone touches it, your business card opens automatically. This is ideal for card holders, trade show stands, or NFC stickers at your workplace.
Please note one important requirement: the NFC tag you use must be writable. Tags that are already locked or write-protected cannot be overwritten.
How to write your card to an NFC tag
- Open the snapAddy BusinessCards app and go to the My card section using the bottom navigation bar.
- In the My card section, tap the gear icon in the top right to open the settings.

- Under Sharing options, tap Write card to NFC tag.

- The Ready to Scan dialog appears. Now hold your smartphone near the writable NFC tag.

- Once the card has been written successfully, a checkmark appears in the Ready to Scan dialog to confirm. The NFC tag is now ready to use: touching the tag with a smartphone will open your digital business card.
Note: To stop the transfer, simply tap Cancel in the Ready to Scan dialog. The process is identical on Android, only the Ready to Scan dialog is displayed differently there.
Writing NFC tags is one of the many features that make sharing contact details with snapAddy BusinessCards especially fast and reliable.
