# How can I log in to snapAddy using a login code (magic code)?

## If you are having trouble logging in with your regular credentials, snapAddy offers a convenient alternative: the one-time login code, also known as Magic Code. This code is sent directly to the registered email address and enables a secure, passwordless login.

### How to log in with a login code (Magic Code)

1. **Access the login code option:** There are two ways to access the login code feature:
     - **Via login options:** On the login page, click **"Other sign-in options"** and then select **"Sign in with login code"**.

     - **Via "Forgot password?":** In the app, tap "Forgot password?" or in the web view, click "Problems signing in?".

       ![](https://portal.snapaddy.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Feb-25-2026-04-07-33-9503-PM.png?width=250&height=334&name=image-png-Feb-25-2026-04-07-33-9503-PM.png)
2. **Enter your email address and select "Request login code".** If you would prefer to reset your password instead, please refer to the article [I want to change my password](https://portal.snapaddy.com/knowledge/i-want-to-change-my-password?hsLang=en).

   **App view:**

3. **Check your email inbox:** Check your email inbox (including your spam folder) for the email from snapAddy.
4. **Enter the code and log in:** Enter the received code on the following screen to log in. The process typically takes just a few seconds.

### That didn't work?

If the login with the login code does not work, there may be several reasons. **The feature may have been disabled by a snapAddy administrator, or the code may have already expired.**

The following options are available to you:

- **Reset your password:** Reset your password and log in as usual.
For instructions, see:**[I forgot my password](https://portal.snapaddy.com/knowledge/i-forgot-my-password?hsLang=en)**
- **Further help with login issues:** If you continue to experience difficulties, you can find additional solutions in the article **[Login problems – what to do?](https://portal.snapaddy.com/knowledge/login-problems-what-to-do?hsLang=en)**
