How can I distinguish between "In Progress" and "Completed" reports in the Dashboard?

The VisitReport Dashboard offers two distinct views: 'Completed' for exported reports, and 'In Progress' for reports that are still being edited on the reporter's device. This enables you to keep track of the status of all reports at any time.

Overview of Report Views

As an event manager, event curator, or administrator, you have access to two report views in the VisitReport Dashboard: "Completed" and "In Progress".

1. "Completed" View

Here you can see all reports that have already been exported by reporters from the app. The following functions are available for these reports:

  • Edit participant information and questionnaire responses
  • Export to a CRM system
  • Forward to a workflow
  • Download options in various file types such as PDF or Excel

2. "In Progress" View

The "In Progress" view gives you insight into reports that are still on the reporters' devices and have not yet been exported to the snapAddy Dashboard.

Completeness Status

The "Completeness" column consists of two components:

  • Participant status: Indicates whether contact data has been captured.
  • Responses: Number of answered questions in the questionnaire.

The participant status is displayed differently depending on whether the event has defined required fields:

Events with required fields:

  • Complete participant – All required fields have been filled in.
  • Incomplete participant – Some required fields are still missing.
  • No contact data – No contact data has been added to the report yet. 

Events without required fields:

  • Participant captured – Contact data has been added.
  • No contact data – No contact data present in the report yet.

For reports with multiple participants, you will first see a summarized status. In the expanded view, you receive a detailed overview of each individual participant and their completeness status.


Completing Reports

You can complete reports with the status "In Progress" directly from the Dashboard:

  1. Hover over the desired report and click "Complete Report".
  2. You will receive a notification that the user will no longer be able to edit the report once you click "Complete".

Note: Completing a report via the Dashboard sets it to "Read-Only" status in the reporter's app. The reporter can then no longer make any changes.
