Suggestions: How to create and manage contact lists?

Contact lists let you presort contacts in snapAddy LeadResearch and DataAgents right at capture. You create personal contact lists in the settings under "Contact lists"; shared contact lists are created by an administrator in the "Organization" section.

When you click on contact suggestions, you may be able to choose between different lists. With the help of lists, contacts can already be presorted, so teams work noticeably more efficiently. By default there is one main list, but you can create as many additional lists as you need.

Creating a personal contact list

  1. Click on Settings.
  2. Click on Contact lists in the "Profile" section.
  3. Click on "Create contact list".

  4. Name the list and use the Visibility option to specify in which product the contact list is displayed and used (LeadResearch and/or DataAgents). Then click on "Create contact list".

  5. In the "Contact list settings" section, you can specify which list is used for which purpose, for example for suggestions of new or updated contacts, for contacts passed via the assistance function, or for contacts captured via LeadResearch from LinkedIn or XING. Save with "Save contact list settings". Please note that this setting can be overwritten by an administrator.

Creating a shared contact list (administrator)

Shared contact lists can only be created by the administrator. If a list has been shared with you, you can select it in LeadResearch.

  1. Click on "Shared contact lists" in the "Organization" section.
  2. Click on "Create contact list".

  3. Name the list, set the Visibility (LeadResearch and/or DataAgents), and select which users or user groups you want to share it with.

  4. Click on "Create contact list".
  5. The list will now appear for all users it was shared with. You can recognize shared lists by the group icon next to the list name.

You can adjust the name, visibility, and access of a contact list at any time: open the list in the overview to edit it and save your changes.
