Badge scan with snapAddy VisitReport

With snapAddy VisitReport, you can scan badges at trade fairs and process the collected contact data in the digital visit report. These can then be exported to your CRM system.

Requirements

In most cases, scanning badges and trade fair passes is only possible if the trade fair provider offers an API interface for lead capture.
These interfaces vary from provider to provider and are usually subject to a fee charged by the
provider.

This list shows the badge providers that snapAddy already supports. If you cannot find your provider on the list, please contact snapAddy Support (support@snapaddy.com).


Note: The independent configuration of badge providers explained below will be available shortly.

Configuration of  badge providers 

Users with the roles of Event Curator, Event Manager, and Administrator can store the
configuration of a badge provider in an event. These interfaces differ for each provider and so the costs for acquiring such an interface can vary greatly. 

Steps for the setup

Requirements 

Please contact the respective trade fair provider to obtain API documentation. The API documentation is a prerequisite for us to connect the badge scanning function.

  1. Go to the event settings in your event. There you will find the “Badge Provider” page.
  2. Select the badge provider for your event. Enter the login details provided by the trade fair provider.
  3. If your provider is not listed, please continue reading below.
  4. In addition to the mapping provided by snapAddy, you also have the option of defining a user-defined mapping. Please note: This option is intended for technically savvy users.
  5. Test the configuration thoroughly before the event.

If you cannot find your provider in our list or encounter problems, contact your Customer Success Manager or use our badge scan order form to set up the connection to snapAddy VisitReport.

Note

If you encounter problems with the connection or if snapAddy Support is to connect your provider, implementation for known badge providers usually takes one business day. If the provider is not listed, please contact your Customer Success Manager at least 6 weeks before the start of the respective trade fair or use our order form for badge scanning to set up the connection to snapAddy VisitReport. API documentation from your trade fair provider is required for this.
