How can I scan more than one business card with the BusinessCards app?

To scan multiple business cards, tap the plus button in the bottom right corner of the Scans view and select Multiple business cards or QR codes in the Add contact via… menu.

1. Open the snapAddy BusinessCards app on your smartphone and sign in.
2. In the Scans view, tap the plus button in the bottom right corner.
3. In the Add contact via… menu, select Multiple business cards or QR codes.

The same menu also offers Business card or QR code, NFC tag and Manually for single contacts.

How do you capture the front and back side of a business card?

Take a picture of the front side of the business card first and add the second side through + Backside if needed. The green button with the check mark confirms the capture.

1. Point the camera at the business card and take the picture. The capture then appears under the heading Frontside.
2. Adjust the visible section through the crop icon in the top left corner if needed. The bin icon in the top right corner discards the capture so that you can take a new picture.
3. If the business card has a printed back side, tap + Backside and take a picture of it as well.
4. Confirm the business card with the green button with the check mark at the bottom of the screen.

How do you finish the session and where do you find the captured business cards?

After every confirmed business card, the capture screen opens again so that you can photograph the next card right away. Once all business cards are captured, close the capture screen through the close icon in the top right corner.

The captured business cards then appear as contacts in the Scans view. There you can review and complete the recognised data before exporting the contacts to your target system.

What should you keep in mind when scanning multiple business cards?

Reliable text recognition works best when the business cards are well lit and fill the frame. The recognition quality of the snapAddy BusinessCards app is among the strongest on the market, and clean captures still improve the result.
