How do I connect business socials to the VisitReport app?

A quick guide on how to connect business socials with the VisitReport app

 

In short: Open the settings of the VisitReport app, tap "Connect to LinkedIn" in the section of the desired business social network, and authorise the connection. Once connected, the contact search powered by snapAddy LeadResearch is available directly within every visit report.

Step-by-step: Connecting business socials

  1. Open the VisitReport app on a mobile device or desktop.
  2. Navigate to the Settings menu (usually found via the gear icon or main menu).

  3. Scroll to the section of the desired business social.
  4. Tap or click the button "Connect to LinkedIn".

  5. A login window of the respective business social network opens. Enter the credentials and authorise snapAddy to access the profile.
  6. Once authorization is complete, the app will confirm the successful connection.
  7. The contact search is now available in every new or existing visit report.

How to use the profile search in VisitReport

After the connection is established, the search can be used while creating a contact:

  1. Open or create a visit report.
  2. Add a new contact and select Search and the desired business soical as the capture method.
  3. Enter the name of the contact (and optionally the company).
  4. Select the matching profile from the result list — the contact details are transferred automatically into the report.

Disconnecting LinkedIn

To disconnect – for example when changing accounts or after an expired session – follow these steps:

  1. Open Settings → section of the respective business social network.
  2. Tap "Disconnect".
  3. A new connection can be established at any time using the steps described above.
