How to enable and use Quick Scan?
With Quick Scan, you can capture contact data fast by scanning consecutive business cards, supported event badges or QR codes.
To enable Quick Scan in a given event, go to Contact capture in the event's settings.
Get started in the VisitReport app
When you open an event with Quick Scan enabled in the VisitReport app, you will see a 'Quick Scan' button on the initial screen. Click on it, choose from business cards or QR codes/event badges and start scanning.
Where to find your reports?
Reports you create in Quick Scan are located in their own section of the reports tab for a given event. Reports you export from Quick Scan do not have to conform to the normal requirements of a report, so you don't need to worry about required contact fields or questionnaire requirements.
Tip: You can convert a Quick Scan report into a 'normal’ report in order to edit it further. This will move it to the regular report section and it will have to conform to the report requirements you have configured.
