How to use Two-factor Authentication (2FA)

Improve security by using two-factor authentication. The two-factor authentication adds an additional security step by requiring a two-factor token when you log in.

In many cases, it makes sense to double-protect sensitive data, such as that of your customers. In the following, you will learn step by step how to do this.

  1. To activate the two-factor authentication please log in in the snapADDY Dashboard

  2. Manage your profile under

  3. On the right side under your profile you can find the Two-factor Authentication field. Please click on Activate 2FA

  4. Scan the QR code with your preferred authenticator app.

  5. The app will respond with a Two-factor-Token.

  6. Please insert this token in the respective field in your snapADDY dashboard.

  7. Click on Activate 2FA - and you are all set!
