Types of questions in VisitReport

VisitReport offers a possibility to create different types of questions. Read this article to see examples of how various question types appear in the app.

How to create a new question? 

  1. Go to snapADDY dashboard 
  2. Enter your Event, and go to Questionnaire
  3. Click on "Add Question" and you will see a window with different options available for you

Which types of questions are available? 

  • Single selection: Only one answer option can be selected

  • Multi selection: Multiple answer options can be selected

  • Typeahead Single/Multi Selection:  Single/Multiple answer options can be selected. This question type enables users to search through the available answer options, making it ideal for situations where there are numerous choices to select from.

  • Text (single line): Free text can be entered in a text field, but with this type the text can only be one line long. Can be used for example, for entering answer options which were not included in the selection

  • Text area (multiple lines): Enter a free text in more than one line, can be used for adding longer descriptions or notes

  • Number: Only numbers can be entered

  • Signature: add a digital signature from the participant. This feature is particularly useful when you need to obtain consent for data processing from the individual.

  • Time of day: enables users to select a specific time from a clock interface. 

  • Date and time: choose a specific date and time using a calendar interface.

  • Date: enables users to select a specific date from a calendar interface. Additionally, you can create multiple date options to, for example, gather appointment preferences of event participants.
