Suggested question vs. Required question

Would you like to make sure that certain questions are not skipped by event paticipants? We have a solution for this: set up a question importance in VisitReport Dashboard

The question importance feature ensures that you are not frustrated by missing information in your reports. When you prepare for an event, you have the option to make your question either suggested or required. This article explains how to configure this function and the difference between the two options.

How to set up the question importance?

When you add a new question, go to "Settings", where you find the "Importance" option. Here you can choose whether you would like to make the question suggested or required.

Suggested question

If you choose to label the question as suggested, it will be indicated with an orange exclamation mark as you fill out the questionnaire.

In case the participant forgot or skipped this question, at the end of the report you will see a message, indicating that the answer is missing.

If you choose not to add the answer, you can still export the report.

Required question

Another option is to label the question as required. Once it is done, you can see the red exclamation mark as you go through a questionnaire.

In case that the required question is empty, you will also get the message asking you to fill in the answer.

Unlike a suggested question, there is no option to export this report. The app will not allow you to export it to your CRM or snapADDY dashboard until you have filled in the answer.
