What is the option "Prevent exports without contact" for?
In this article you will learn how to prevent exports without contacts and what happens when you enable this feature
Imagine you have filled out a questionnaire and are exporting it. Unfortunately, you forgot to add a participant. If you are lucky, you still know to whom the answers should be assigned. However, if you have exported many contacts, this is more difficult. With a small hook you can fix this problem.
- Open the desired Event
- Click on Settings > Export
- Check the box Prevent exporting reports without contacts
If you enable this option in the Export section of the event settings, when exporting a report from the VisitReport app, it will check if a contact has been added to the report.
If this is not the case, the export will be prevented and the user will be prompted to add a contact
The prerequisite is considered to be fulfilled if all mandatory contact fields have been filled out.
