Continuous workflows automatically update and enrich all records of a specific CRM entity type (such as contacts or leads) with up-to-date information from various data sources, running continuously in the background and repeating the process once all records have been updated.

What are continuous workflows?

Continuous workflows are an automated workflow type in snapAddy DataQuality that systematically updates and enriches your entire CRM database. Unlike event-based workflows that process individual records when triggered by external events, continuous workflows work through all records of a selected entity type automatically and continuously.

How do continuous workflows function?

Once set up, a continuous workflow downloads all relevant record IDs from your CRM system based on your defined filters, then processes each record individually through the configured workflow steps. The workflow can include a data refinement step to standardize the format of contact data before enrichment begins. It automatically repeats the process once all records have been updated and runs continuously in the background without requiring manual intervention.

The workflow can enrich and update your data using multiple high-quality sources, such as the Company Data Search for comprehensive company information, the Email Validator for verifying and validating email addresses, and the Contact Person Search for enriching contact details using LinkedIn.

Prerequisites

To use continuous workflows, you need:

  • An active CRM connection to one of the supported systems (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP Sales Cloud, or HubSpot)

  • Appropriate permissions in your CRM

  • A snapAddy DataQuality license with a DataQuality Automation package

Managing workflow output

Continuous workflows are designed for comprehensive automation and automatically process entities without manual intervention. However, when needed, snapAddy DataQuality offers the suggestions feature for selective quality control. You can configure workflows to require manual review for specific fields or data types where human oversight is valuable. This optional review process allows you to balance automation efficiency with targeted quality assurance for critical data points.

Syncing data from your CRM

The workflow allows you to sync data from your CRM system at any time:

  • After major changes in your CRM structure

  • When modifying entity filters

  • To ensure the workflow processes the most current record set

This synchronization refreshes the list of record IDs and ensures your continuous workflow operates on the latest data.
