How do I check suggestions in DataQuality Automation?

Update entities in your CRM by reviewing suggestions.

The idea behind DataQuality Automation is that the majority of incoming contact data (e.g. from email signatures) is processed fully automatically by workflows. If ambiguous cases arise during this process, the suggested values can be checked manually by a user. This article is about these suggestions.

Where do the suggestions come from?

During the automatic processing of entities and their transfer to a connected CRM system, suggestions may need to be checked manually. You can see these in the overview of suggestions. They are based on emails that have been received in connected mailboxes in your organisation. For these entities, a manual check is necessary for further processing.

What is a workflow in DataQuality Automation?

A workflow is a sequential series of actions that automatically update entities in a CRM system.  In DataQuality Automation, you can define customised workflows that process incoming contact data and automatically keep your CRM system up to date.

How do I check the proposals?

To check a suggestion, first select a list at the top of the page.  Below this, you will see an overview of the existing contact suggestions from your workflows.

Each card in the list represents a suggestion that was created by a workflow and relates to the CRM entity displayed. Existing values in the CRM are labelled with the CRM symbol, while newly suggested values have the snapADDY symbol.

For each value, you can decide whether you want to accept the suggestion, keep the value from your CRM system or add your own value.

Then click on ‘Accept’ to accept the selected values. If the suggestion does not contain any relevant information, you can decide against a suggestion by clicking on ‘Decline’.

What happens to the reviewed proposals?

Your decisions are processed automatically by a further workflow (e.g. by saving the selected information in your CRM system).

The information from rejected proposals is discarded.
