What do the user roles mean?

Learn more about the different roles for our snapADDY products and how they define permissions.

In order to enable your users to fulfill their specific requirements, you can assign them roles with permissions and access levels. In this article we show which roles are available for each product and what their permissions are.

Dashboard settings

Regarding the settings, everyone is able to access the "Profile" section. 
Only Admins are able to ...
  • edit the user management (roles, licenses, groups, ...)
  • edit the organization (system integrations, Email server, ...)
  • manage billing information

 

VisitReport

VisitReport offers a variety of user roles to define permission for your staff. The following table shows each role and it's permissions in the VisitReport Dashboard:

VisitReport - App

All functionalities can be used by any role in the VisitReport-App. However, some functionalities like the media library, meetings, info center and team coordination have to be activated in the event settings of the VisitReport Dashboard beforehand. Check the table above to see which roles have access to activate these features in the Dashboard.

Note: Staff that has been assigned the role Reporter or User for VisitReport don't have access to events with draft status.

DataQuality

DataQuality currently only offers the User role. See the sections below for DataQuality Research and DataQuality Automation for details regarding access rights.

DataQuality Research

Users have access to all DataQuality Research functionalities. They can also access personal settings.

DataQuality Automation

Users can review suggestions and upload Excel-data to be processed by a Workflow in DataQuality Automation.

Only Admins can ...

  • create and edit Workflows
  • check logs 
  • manage mailbox connections

BusinessCards

BusinessCards currently only offers the User role. Users can view and edit their own digital business card.

Only Admins can ...

  • manage cards of all users
  • create and edit templates
  • access settings for app configuration and provisioning
